A very, very good stay, pleasant staff, excellent food
Très très bon séjour , personnel agréable, restauration au top
Unfortunately, all rooms with a sea view were booked. Therefore, for the sake of comfort, I booked a larger room, even though I was using it alone. The room was very well-equipped and even included an iron and ironing board (note: this is a 3-star hotel).
Next to the hotel and in the immediate vicinity, there are many restaurants (including some with gluten-free options and, in my opinion, very good food) and shops (for water, etc., and clothing).
The hotel provides drinking water on each floor. They supply bottles that guests can fill with water.
When you leave the hotel, you only have to cross the street to reach the sea. The ferry and other boats to Valletta or to explore other islands are just a few minutes' walk away.
Leider waren alle Zimmer mit Blick auf Meer ausgebucht. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mir, des Komforts-Willen ein größeres Zimmer gebucht, obwohl ich das Zimmer alleine genutzt habe. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und bot sogar ein Bügeleisen mit Bügelbrett (beachte: 3-Sterne Hotel).
Neben dem Hotel und in naher Umgebung befinden sich viele Restaurants (auch welche mit glutenfreiem Angebot und m.E. sehr gutem Essen) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (für Wasser, etc. und Kleidung).
In dem Hotel wird auf den Etagen trinkbares Wasser angeboten. Das Hotel stellt Flaschen zur Verfügung, in die man das Wasser füllen kann.
Wenn man das Hotel verlässt, muss man lediglich die Straße überqueren um zum Meer zu gelangen. Die Fähre und weitere Bote um nach Valetta zu gelangen oder um mit Schiffen weitere Inseln zu erkunden, erreicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß.
