Ana Talia House

In a word: PERFECT. It is not a hotel at all, but, as its name suggests, a “House.” It feels as though a close relative lives in Mardin and you have come to visit them. It is a family business run by Talia, the mother, together with her spouse and children; actually, “run” is not quite the right word—they live there and host guests. We absolutely did not encounter the slightest problem with the hosts; on the contrary, we were treated very generously. From our reservation until our departure, Mr. Tayfun was constantly in touch with us; we would also like to extend our separate thanks to him and his entire family.

As for the room, we stayed in the “Teyyare” room, a former sun temple. The room may be considered relatively claustrophobic, but if confined spaces do not bother you and you are not very tall, it is worth experiencing; sleeping in it is very enjoyable :) The rooms are clean, tidy, and new. As for parking, unfortunately, like many accommodation venues, this place also has a parking problem, but once you come here, you understand much better why there is no parking, so do not worry.

To sum up, it has taken the top spot for me as the first place to recommend in Mardin; if we happen to come this way again, it is somewhere we will gladly choose again.

Tek kelimeyle MÜKEMMEL. Asla bir otel değil, adında geçtiği gibi "House". Yakın bir akrabanız Mardin'de yaşıyor da onu ziyarete gelmişsiniz gibi. Oda tarafında ise biz eski güneş tapınağı olan "Teyyare" odasında kaldık, oda nispeten klostrofobik sayılabilir ama dar alanda rahatsız olan ve çok uzun boylu değilseniz tecrübe etmenizde fayda var, uyuması çok keyifli :) Odalar temiz, düzenli ve yeni. Otopark olarak da maalesef birçok konaklama mekanı gibi burası da otopark sorunu çeken bir yer ancak buraya geldiğinizde otoparkın neden olmadığını çok daha iyi anlıyorsunuz o nedenle endişe etmeyin.

Hülasa Mardin'de tavsiye edilecek ilk mekan olarak bendeki yerini almış durumda, bir daha yolumuz düşerse seve seve yine tercih edeceğimiz bir yer.
