We initially booked three nights. We subsequently extended this for our entire stay in Zanzibar.
It is truly a wonderful place to stay if you are really looking for peace and quiet. It is truly a spot where you can unwind.
There isn't a whole lot to do in the surrounding area, but we were fine with booking activities outside the accommodation during the day and then relaxing in the quiet bungalows. The food was top-notch! Compliments to the chefs. The staff was super nice and always helpful.
The managers are also incredibly sweet and considerate!
The beach has stones. So you really need to bring water shoes with a hard sole. What was nice, though, is that at low tide you can walk from the hotel beach towards Kiwengwa beach. Do keep in mind that you have to walk back before the tide comes in😅 otherwise you can also take the shuttle service to Kiwengwa beach.
We really had a "safe" stay. Our belongings were always left out in the open in the room. We never saw anyone touch our belongings.
You can borrow a bicycle for free; you can use it to cycle to Masoud Mosque on Jumu'ah if you wish.
Wij hadden eerst drie nachten geboekt. Dit hebben wij vervolgens verlengd voor ons gehele verblijf in Zanzibar.
Het is echt een heerlijk verblijf als je echt opzoek bent naar de rust. Het is echt een plekje waar je kunt ontprikkelen.
Er is niet erg veel te doen in de omgeving, maar wij vonden het prima om overdag activiteiten buiten de accommodatie te boeken en vervolgens lekker weer te vertoeven in de stille bungalows. Het eten was top! Complimenten aan de chefkoks. Personeel was super aardig en dacht altijd mee.
De managers zijn ook ontzettend lief en meedenkend!
Het strand heeft stenen. Dus je moet wel echt waterschoentjes met een harde zool meenemen. Wat wel leuk was, is dat je bij eb vanuit het strand van het hotel richting Kiwengwa beach kunt lopen. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je dan terug moet lopen voordat het weer vloed is😅 anders kun je ook met de shuttle service naar Kiwengwa beach.
Wij hebben ook echt een "veilig" verblijf gehad. Onze spullen lagen altijd open en bloot in de kamer. Wij hebben nooit gezien dat er aan onze spullen is gezeten.
Je kunt gratis een fiets lenen, hiermee kun je eventueel op djumu3ah naar moskee Masoud fietsen.
