Swissotel Sarajevo

It’s close enough to where all the main attractions are but a lot quieter and calmer . We were on the 19th floor with 2 interconnected rooms. Rooms are very spacious and the views across Sarajevo are incredible! Loved the window sill padded seats so you can enjoy the views thoroughly. There is also a complementary mini bar with juice and coke / Fanta / water - we stayed 4 nights and couldn’t get through these !
It’s connected to a mall you can enter from the 1st floor - down the mall escalator and you exit to the tram / bus stop. The service is very frequent and you can pay the driver - it’s like £1 for a ride pp. 10 mins and you’re right in the old town that is walkable also from
The hotel about 20-25 mins.
In the mall there’s an exchange bureaus on the ground floor literally next to the mall entrance if you walk out of the front hotel entrance to the left and they didn’t ask for my id . In the old town they want your passport and I was not keen on carrying mine everywhere.
Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Loved that it is connected to the mall, had valet parking at a reasonable cost, and the valet service was great. Spa was great, and pool was lots of fun with our baby. Above all else, the staff at this hotel truly made our stay better. They were all helpful, smiling, even playing with our baby and entertaining him.
We would love to return some day to Sarajevo and will definitely be back at this hotel. I would highly recommend.
