Perfect location, overlooking olive groves and vineyards, and only 20 minutes from the center of Heraklion.
Even though there isn't much "Halal" food available, there's fresh fish (sea bream, red mullet, etc.) by the sea (e.g., Matala, in great little huts). We also enjoyed cantaloupes, watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, olives, feta cheese, and croutons (everyone puts them in salads, they're delicious). There's a Turkish restaurant 20 minutes from the house that's hearty and good, perfect for rounding out your meals. The Saturday morning market is perfect for fresh produce. The locals are attentive and concerned about your well-being. In restaurants, they offer you a small ice cream or watermelon at the end of your meal (except in Agios Nikolaos, which is less friendly but still very pretty). Importantly, the restrooms are clean everywhere you go. Georgio is very responsive via messages and answers questions very quickly. A small snack was waiting for us upon arrival. The house is very clean and the bedding is perfect. We ate the oranges... Untreated lemons and medlars from the orchard were fantastic!
We truly had a wonderful stay.

Même s'il n'y a pas beaucoup de "Halal", il y a le poisson frais (dorades, rougets … en bord de mer (ex : Matala dans des petites cagnats TOP), Sinon melons jaunes, pastèques, concombres, tomates, oignons rouges , olives, féta et croutons ( tt le monde en met dans les salades, trop bons) ont fait notre bonheur. Il y a un resto turque à 20 minutes de la maison copieux et bon pour compléter.
Le marché du samedi matin est parfait pour les achats frais.
Les gens sont prévenants et on le soucie de votre bien être. Dans les restos, on vous offre une petite glace ou de la pastèque en fin de repas. (sauf à Agios Nikolaos moins cool mais endroit très joli). Détail important , les toilettes sont propres partout ou vous allez.
SINON Georgio est très présent par messages et répond aux questions très rapidement. A notre arrivée une petite collation nous attendait. La maison est très propre et la literie parfaite. On a manger les oranges citrons et nèfles du verger non traités TOP
Vraiment, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
